John began his career first as a laborer, moving on to become a carpenter, foreman, superintendent, on-site construction manager, project manager. Most recently John was an owner of an upstate New York project managerial and consulting firm. John has fifteen years of experience supervising and managing the construction across New York State. His responsibilities included organizing and leading projects with local and multiple prime contractors. His experience has ranged from retail to K-12 education projects. John has specialized in New York State K-12 school capital projects and he has directly managed over one hundred and five million dollars of construction.

His work involved strategic planning and coordination with the ownership/client team (School Districts, Architect/Engineer and CM) during all phases of their capital projects. John has broad experience with facilities committee organization and management. He has been involved in all phases of a project from pre-referendum services through development, master schedule creation, document review and construction, Board of Education update reports and project close out.
